Drochmor Rises
From whispered rumors across the continent, slowly and secretly, a fortification has been growing in the western jungles. Now its form is complete and it has a name, Rhazan’kor, “The Free Realm”. A confederation of races spurned and scorned by the tenrimere empire has staked it’s claim to the world far from the eyes and armies of the Empire. Ruled by a coalition of four nations, Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, and Humans. Drochmor seeks to free the world from the oppression and lies of the Tenrimere.
Rhazan’kor, the second Capital City serves as the seat of power for the Drochmor faction. Each of the four races within the free realm is ruled by their respective leader, each of whom is considered to have complete authority over their nation, yet all four rulers form their confederacy and decide among themselves on matters that concern the entire realm. Rather than enforcing a homogeneous unified culture which attempts to fit all citizens, Rhazan’kor instead determined it best that each race be governed by their own norms and law, as such there is little unified law enforcement save for private mercenary forces hired by the wealthy and the influential.
The city is well positioned for naval trade as well as more nefarious maritime purposes and its proximity to the pirate settlement Deepmire is no accident. This naval superiority combined with the impenetrable jungle to the east makes Rhazan’kor a challenge for the empire to strike against, ensuring the settlement and indeed the Drochmor faction remain a thorn in the side of Tenrimere’s claims to global unity.
