The server is fine the recent 1 star reviews line up with people who recently got banned for ban evasion and they ‘coincidentally’ started to pop up when their appeals got denied. Imagine that. The server is number 1 for a reason and has been running for 11 years.

Perfect for a little nostalgia for the old Maple. It is not recommended to do this in earnest. You have little right to join the boss unless you spend a long time doing the simple tasks leech Story.HP Wash and creating equipment and buff mule. Very tough for beginners.

There are many players abusing vote policy but not all of them are getting found. I gotta admit but the game itself is good with how the staffs are operating. However, so unfair to those all players banned for vote abuse. Even saw some forum posts that staffs were doubting a player for P2W due to high meso usage and it took more than 1 years for the player to get unbanned by player HIMSELF providing evidence where staffs kept questioning. Ironic.

I have been playing MapleRoyal for the past month, and every time I log in, I have a blast. The community is incredibly friendly and active, with many players participating in party quests. The experience rate is fantastic, and the community has been extremely helpful. I havent encountered a single rude person. Although I did come across one cheater after three weeks, the GMs handled it swiftly, as I couldnt search for, add, or whisper the cheater. I have donated money to recieve points but it was for cosmetics as it does nothing to help you gear quicker, I would highly recommend this server to anyone looking for an authentic old school MapleStory experience. Amazing server and probably the best among them all. A lot of content, nice balancing no P2W and very stable. Pay attention that all the cry babies who gave it a 1 star rating are just whining because they got banned for one offense or another. The server has clear rules that one must be responsible to read. Irresponsible people are banned and that’s a great thing, nobody likes to play with ignorants and immature baby QQers! Enjoy your stay and be respectful.

I have played on this Server on and off since it started and would say the majority of the time was between 2015~2016 and 2023. There is vote abuse and RWT and as with every server this is human behaviour to take advantage and exploit what they can. What I can say is the admins take these cases seriously and review and punish (some times to an extreme) these negative behaviours. Gameplay and Reliability The game is great and balance is very good. I can honestly say for the most part the community is wholesome. This is a mature server with a large and stable player base. With that of course you will have people doing extreme HP washing, multi-clienting and leeching but you by no means have to engage in that. You may do what you want to do as this is your story. There are players doing certain challenges, staying on the island or dedicated to not washing and not leeching. There are options for players to PQ, party together, chat and boss. I earnestly enjoy playing on this server and overall have a very stable game. I have played maple legends, pre bb GMS (extensively) and Extalia. Although I have nothing too negative to say about any particular server I would say I find my self playing Royals the most out of any PS. 9.5 / 10 if I had to be picky.

Nvr play this server, their gm and staff will just anyhow ban u for no reason or suspicious dialog or item u got from ur fren who quitted this server and say u RWT . and they will delete the item even they found out its not your prob and in the end you farm for nothing . Stupid and rude staff

This server full of coks GMs and Staff. Especially that Tim Cook admin guy, Dave the forum ahgua, Stephen, the fake stephen chow wannabe, Dong simi dong and more. they will ban people even if they did nothing wrong, and even if you appeal and they replied you after.. err hem.. checking, they assume it is still your problem when you literally did no wrong. And after making a big fuss, they checked again and confirm it is not your fault and might be an issue outside. And then did not apologize to us for making such dumb mistakes and accusations. Worse of all, they will sarcastically respond to your messages if you are a banned person. They look down on you like looking down at an empty slot inside their pants. No respect for people if you are considered err hem.. banned. Low EQ and IQ staffs who sits behind their desks running a dead server. Definitely either a skinny rag and bones wearing specs with buck tooth or an obese guy you often see in army office doing paperwork. 100 percent confirm ah gua pattern the way the staffs in the forum responds with such unprofessional behaviour. The staff keeps a chat log of everyone, so you have to be careful when talking in game. They can also ban you just because they feel you are "suspicious" and its guilty until proven innocent and this can take up a lot of time lmao. One of the famous mapleroyal streamer just got banned for rwt suspicions. The staff mention that they have the "evidence" for bans that get issued, but they are asking for details and evidence from the person whom they banned. I mean if they are so sure he is doing rwt, there is no need for him to explain himself, just keep him banned and close the thread and thats it. Now he is streaming kaizenms in his youtube channel and royals will just keep him banned for "advertising" other private servers like wtf??? A final tip for those who still wants to play this server, DO NOT pick up items that are randomly dropped by players or accept random trades, you can get banned for rwt. Most bans are either vote abuse or rwt which is not so surprisingly...

I have been playing on this server for quite some time now and I must say that i have fallen in love. The server has a happy, youthful and helpful community that has made me feel very welcomed. The number of players on this server is quite impressive and it is one of the few servers where you can actually see a real and valid population. The technical help on this server is very professional and they have managed to keep the bugs to a minimum. This has made my gaming experience here much more enjoyable than on other servers. I have also been able to make a lot of friends on this server and I have found that there are so many guilds to choose from due to the super massive community. There are players literally everywhere around the maple world, from ant tunnel to omega sector, you wont find huge amount of players roaming the world in other servers at all, most servers are empty and filled with buff mules. What I find most impressive about this server is the level of support that you can get for anything. The community is very supportive and there is less toxicity than on other servers. There are also a lot of events that are not postponed, which makes the server even more fun to play on. Overall, I have had a great experience playing on this server and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable gaming experience.

Awfully inflated economy because of Hackers and RWT. Community and staff are aggresive. Vote2Win server. Once you start making gear they will ban you because they think you participated in RWT, then you have to prove that you are innocent. The structure of the game is guilty until proven innocent. Soft community cannot curse or take jokes or you’ll be banned from 2 weeks to perm. Population is filled with hackers and afk mules. GL to all who continue to play

No high resolutions. Huge vote2win. Leech and HP washing 80 percentage of your time, unless you don’t make a mage, uphold the population with afk leechers so the server looks crowded. Awfully inflated economy because of Hackers and RWT. Community is passive aggressive.

these fake 1 star reviews are rediculous ive been playing off and on since 2016 and none of them are remotely true and sound like salty ppl who got banned for breaking rules like rwt or vote abuse lol you can make more nx at a higher lvl doing bosses than voting daily. papu and ellin forest bosses u can make 10k a day from doing those 3 on top of voting lkc gachapon is a free to play gachapon u use totems for in the lkc which u get by joining lkc daily 1 hour runs at lvl 145 u can get cs ws taru and some really good scrolls so its not just vote2win gachapon /eyeroll royals also give cs or ws from gm event npc and they have mystery boxes anniversary that give cs or ws too so why u say its vote2win when its not u play the game more u get rewarded more with vote2win items for free. u dont need to hp wash i never did and did the magatia hp quest and im at 22k hp cuz ive been doing it everyday since it was added u can hp wash for faster hp gain but the hp quest they added is enough to play and enjoy ur char are u dumb or are u a parrot repeating the same crap everyone else does cuz u dont know anything about the server and wanna bash it for fun. i fully believe the 1 stars are from ppl who got caught abusing rwt u cant convince me otherwise u guys are sad trying to scare away ppl for no reason…. sad.

Not to mention crazy inflation, and too small playerbase to do pq’s. Stable servers, with constant updates and events. However, server is extremely Vote2win and fun classes are walled by either (1) taking an extremely long time to farm for HP and endgame gear or (2) HP washing/leeching. Otherwise, still pretty worth your time.

Not recommended at all. Played for around two years and got banned for no good reason. Did not show any proof of why I got banned. Admins gives you the feeling like you need to say thanks that they even answer you after a month of wait. Biggest waste of my time playing this server.

Exactly what I miss from current GMS. Social gameplay with excellent quality server provides responsive gameplay and great QoL changes that dont detract from the old school experience. Depth of gameplay is great and so is the current content added that is scaled back to classic standards. My only complain, and reason to take a star off, is the obsession with HP washing and the refusal to remove it. Its a system that absolutely nobody likes and just serves to timegate and moneygate when certain classes are viable to play at end game.

Vote2win, you can invest for years and then being perm banned taking all of your effort away and not letting you come back ever as a person (unless you ban evade in a different computer and connection). Cruel staff, you better stay away, eventually you,ll regret for started here and cry trust me. The definitive Maple Story experience. Supportive staff that seemingly care about the long-term health of the server. No pay to win. Regular fun events all year round. A friendly and welcoming community with some genuinely awesome people. I highly recommend this server. 10/10, would get slapped by Anego again.

Terrible staff. Trigger-happy with bans, staff acts like the server is too good for you. Heavy Vote2Win, Mulestory, Leechstory. Votes inflated by rampant vote abuse. Population inflated by mules, every 5th character you see is a real person. A horribly designed game run by terrible staff.
