You love Wrath of the Lich King but feel like you've seen it all? Then Helix is exactly what you've been waiting for!
Helix is a World of Warcraft Blizzlike x5 Server built on WotLK 3.3.5a that doesn't just preserve the most beloved expansion of all time, it takes it further. We combine the true WotLK experience with models, content and quality of life from modern World of Warcraft. Much of it you won't find on any other server.

25 PLAYABLE RACES
15 new races join the ten classics, all using genuine models from modern WoW with authentic proportions, faces, hairstyles and fur colors:
Alliance: Worgen, Void Elves, Lightforged Draenei, Dark Iron Dwarves, Kul Tirans, Mechagnomes
Horde: Goblins, Nightborne, Highmountain Tauren, Mag'har Orcs, Zandalari Trolls, Vulpera
Neutral: Pandaren, Dracthyr and Earthen. You decide for yourself whether they fight for the Alliance or the Horde!
Every race has its own starting zones and matching class combinations.
NEW CLASS: EVOKER
The Dracthyr bring the Evoker to Azeroth. Wielding the magic of all five dragonflights, it's a brand-new class in WotLK!
MAX ITEM LEVEL RAISED TO 350
Where WotLK used to stop, we keep going: the maximum item level has been raised to 350. That makes room for new gear, new rewards and real progression beyond Icecrown Citadel.
CHARACTER CREATION LIKE NEVER BEFORE
On Helix, even the very first step is something special. Character creation has been completely redesigned in the style of modern WoW, with a signature of its own:
Alliance on the left, Horde on the right, each beneath its crest
Neutral races pick their faction with a single click on a crest
Every race is shown against a backdrop of its homeland
Side banners show your race's origins and racial traits, plus your class's specializations and difficulty
Appearance grouped into body, face, hair and features, with color swatches for skin and hair
Many new appearance options from modern WoW
Zoom right up to the face with your mouse wheel
CHARACTER SELECTION AT A GLANCE
Your heroes stand in a rotating carousel. Next to each character you can see their gold, professions, unread mail, free bag slots and when you last played, all before you even log in.
OPTIONAL HD GRAPHICS
HD textures and reworked models for the world and its creatures. Prefer the classic look or running an older PC? Simply switch them off in the launcher.

On Helix, the journey doesn't end with the Lich King. We're expanding WotLK step by step:
City of Karma: the new capital after Dalaran and the gateway to the next chapter
New zones beyond the familiar maps
New raids with their own boss mechanics and new rewards
New dungeons for parties of five
Mythic+ with keystones, timers and rotating affixes
New quests telling what happens after the fall of the Lich King

No playerbots: You play with real people, not with bots faking a full server.
No AI integration: no AI companions, no AI-generated content. Helix is made by people, for people.
WHY JOIN NOW?
All races and classes are already playable! As an alpha, there are still bugs, and some racial traits of the new races are still missing. They're being patched in step by step. That's exactly why we need you: as a tester you help shape Helix, experience new content first, and your feedback goes straight into development.
