When we began our TERA journey in 2012, the game was truly at its peak. Incredibly fluid and engaging combat, awesome class fantasies, and the most badass boss fights made it one of the best games we had ever played. Now more than a decade later, we have decided to embark on a new journey: to start from the very beginning and create a game that preserves the heart and soul of the original TERA experience while giving players the opportunity to enjoy it without any of the pitfalls that befell the game thereafter. This is the mission of Old School TERA Online.
Our team at Old School TERA Online is working on quite a few upcoming patches and changes, including new dungeons and an all new Challenger dungeon system.
We are also working on new outfits and customization options for various races.
What sets OSTO apart from other existing private servers?
- Level 60 Patch with the 8 Core Classes; before any of the other additional classes such as reaper, gunner, brawler, and ninja released. This keeps to the spirit of the Old-School Tera we all remember and loved.
- A team of developers and staff with highly regarded expertise in their field, long-time veterans of both private servers and the original game, dedicated to bringing a stable and secure service for players.
- Content release from VM1 and VM2 era.
- Challenging PvE content - from 2012 pre-nerf BAMs and endgame dungeons, leading up to the capstone dungeons Manaya’s Core Hard Mode and Wonderholme Hard Mode.
- Alliance PvP Zones and Alliance Conflict.
- No pay-to-win! Cosmetics, Mounts, Elite status can all be earned through gold and by simply playing the game.
- Lots of quality of life changes ranging from custom modded cosmetics to a smoother leveling and gearing experience (for both PvE and PvP).
- Upcoming regular events in the works to be announced.
If any of these interest you, do keep us on your radar and have a look at our website or wiki for more details. We are free to answer questions in our discord as well.
